Services At Craighalbert
There are two regular Sunday services at Craighalbert and two midweek services:
- The Family Service – Sunday Morning 11.00am -12.15pm
Our Family Service is a focal point for our worship of our Lord Jesus Christ in an uplifting, inspirational and reverent way through good congregational singing of contemporary (and some traditional) Gospel songs and the preaching and teaching of God’s word from the Holy Bible.
Around two hundred regularly attend this service and there are ample facilities for families with children, including a crèche and Sunday School.
Our speakers preach from the Bible in a down to earth, easily understandable, straight forward way which will always be relevant to your life today and from which you will draw a deeper understanding of Christian living and a real sense of the joy and salvation offered by being a Christian.
After the service all are invited to stay for tea and coffee with the opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships within the Church.
- The Worship Service – Sunday Evening 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Our Worship Service focuses of obeying Christ’s command to remember him, his life, his teaching and above all his sacrifice in laying down his life so that our sins may be forgiven so that, if we truly confess our sins to Him and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Saviour our Souls will be saved and we will enjoy eternal life with Him in Heaven.
A service of appropriate music in song, bible readings and prayer culminate in the sacrament of the Lords Supper and the taking of the emblems of bread and wine representing the body and blood of Christ.
All are welcome to attend. Those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
- The Midweek Services
These can take different formats throughout the year either in the form of Tuesday night prayer suppers in the Church at 8pm or sometimes we meet in small groups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for Bible study and prayer, usually at 8pm. - please see our monthly diary page for full details.
